Mrs. Carolyn Davis
Mrs. Carolyn holds a bachelor’s degree and an education specialist degree from the University of Mississippi. She has a master’s degree from the University of Georgia, as well as vision therapist work from Georgia State University. She has enjoyed a long and successful career as a teacher in general education, special education, and school administration. She remains active in community and church work.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. William Arnold
Mr. William Arnold moved to Oxford with my wife Dianne over seven years ago. He served as OUS Head of School 2015-2016, after volunteering as the school treasurer for four years. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of the school. His granddaughter attended OUS so he has had a connection with this special school for years. Mr. Arnold was a former accountant and ran his own consulting company for 10 years. He has volunteered with several non-profits, including the United Way of Oxford-Lafayette and the Respite Day Services of Oxford. He enjoys working with the great group of highly qualified teachers we have at OUS.
Señor Edgar is from Mexico City, Mexico. He has lived in the United States for more than 20 years. Senor Edgar has a B.A in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Modern Languages from Ole Miss. He also teaches Spanish at The University of Mississippi.
UPPER SCHOOL TEACHERS
Kathy Beasley- 5th-8th grade
Kathy Beasley has one daughter, Alyssa Beasley. He grew up in Calhoun County, but now calls Taylor home. Her high school years were spent in Vardaman, MS. She graduated in 1974 and continued her education at the University of Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978. She taught in Calhoun County Schools for 32 years and retired in 2010. From 2010-2015 she taught at Calhoun Academy. She attends Oxford First Baptist church.”
Cindy Summerlin- 4th Grade
Cindy Summerlin is a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and is certified EC-4 and Special Ed K-12. This is her third year at OUS, and she is excited to be part of such a special school. She loves the natural curiosity the children have and look forward to watching them grow and learn each day. She and her husband, Guy, have two children, Wes and Grace. She loves traveling and sporting events.”
Sarah Grace Wallace- 2nd and 3rd Grade
Sarah Grace Wallace is an Oxford native, three generations to be exact. She has been teaching for three years. She has taught fifth grade math and science, as well as kindergarten. She married her best friend, Austin, this summer. She has two fur babies right now, Ellie and Roscoe. Ole miss sporting events are her favorite pastime. She is so excited to learn and grow with the OUS family this year.

Mrs. Bekah Wymer- 4K
Rebekah Wymer is a 4K teacher at OUS. She is an Ole Miss graduate and have lived in Oxford for ten years, and although she is from Tennessee, she considers herself a local. She has a lovely husband Matt, who is an amazing friend and father. She has two boys, Abe and Oliver. She loves to fish, hike, camp and swim on the weekends with her family. Encouragement and exploration are the two E’s she uses in her classroom.

Mrs. Santerrica Dunn- 4K Assistant
Santerrica is the teaching assistant for Mrs. Gin-Gin Carlton. She was born in New Albany, Mississippi and raised in Oxford Mississippi. She has lived in Oxford all of her life. She and her husband recently had their first child, Rylan. She graduated from Oxford High School in 2011. Mrs. Dunn worked at First Baptist Church for 3 years. She feels very fortunate to be a part of the OUS family.
Mrs. Misty Parmer- 3K Assistant
Misty was born in Memphis, TN. She moved to Oxford when she was 3 and graduated from Lafayette High School in 2005. She is the mother to Anna and Leah. She married her husband Jake Parmer in October of 2015. Her family enjoys traveling, cooking, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with family in Iowa. She loves working at OUS and watching the little ones grow and learn throughout the year.
Paula Haney- Elementary Building Volunteer
Paula Haney is volunteering three days a week in the elementary building. She assists both teachers and students while at OUS. Ms. Paula is a retired teacher who loved children. Her granddaughter attends OUS.
Hannah Weeks- Afterschool Program Volunteer
Hannah Weeks is serving in the afterschool program. She is currently working toward a psychology degree and also works with LFD. Miss Hannah is CPR certified. She is also a real firefighter.
